If you’re a follower of Motorvated on social media then you may have seen some feature photoshoots popping up. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while but I put it on the low priority list due to lack of experience. With COVID19 cancelling so many events I had a stack more time to try something new.

This photoshoot is thanks to the Street Muscle Crusiers meet up where I bumped into a family friend, Michael Petroccitto who was there in this beautiful Eleanor Mustang. I asked if he would be keen in getting his car photographed and it all went on from there. You never know who you’ll bump into at car meets or what lies ahead.

I’m not gonna lie, I was pretty nervous as this is one gorgeous car. I love the 2000 Gone in 60 Seconds movie and didn’t want to let the owners down by showing bad photos but there was no chance of that. This car simply has no bad angles.

With a list of locations as long as my arm I thought I’d make my first proper shoot a good one. I started at the Street Muscle Cruisers Auburn meet location as I thought it suited some industrial scenes from the movie.

As many of you would know this is a replica of the Eleanor GT500 made famous from the movie, Gone in 60 Seconds, one of my favourite car flicks. Not anyone can just build an Eleanor Mustang as the owners of the Eleanor trademark own the rights to any Mustang named Eleanor. In fact B Is For Build built the classic fastback shape on a modern Mustang chassis and had it taken away because technically they built the property of Eleanor Licensing LLC. Thankfully this build has no issues like that.

Originally it is a 1968 fastback Mustang out of California. Father and son owners had it imported to Australia complete with the Eleanor stamped bodykit and certificate of authenticity so it ain’t going anywhere other than where the owners want it.

This is a serious head turner. We had people stopping by for a chat everywhere we went and it was a lot of fun to photograph. Thanks again to Michael and James for letting me photograph this beautiful car. Watch some behind the scenes of my Torana and this beautiful Mustang on YouTube by clicking here.

I’m looking for more cars to photograph so if you’re interested, please don’t hesitate to contact me to organise a photoshoot.

Thanks for stopping by Motorvated
